OlderMarc Jacobs & Lorenzo Martone: St. Barts Holiday Break!
Marc Jacobs arrives in St. Barts on Monday (December 26) for a post-holiday vacation.
The 48-year-old fashion designer was joined by his ex, Lorenzo Martone.
Lorenzo recently spoke with Dirty magazine about his feelings on monogamy.
“I do [believe monogamy is possible]. However my longest relationship was only 2 and a half years. A lot of couples I know that have been together for 15 or 20 years have healthy open relationships. I often wonder if that influences a relationship’s longevity,” Lorenzo told the mag, adding that while he’s single at the moment, he and Marc are still best friends.

It’s also possible to have a long lasting monogamous relationship as well…15 and 20 years. every relationship and person is different. i wouldn’t say that an open relationship is the key to make it long lasting. the key is the mutual trust, connectivity, honesty, friendship, and desire between the two people.

@marie: Agree completely, my partner and I just got married after 20 years and have a completely monogamous relationship based on love and trust. Our kids were so happy when we could finally get married in NY this Thanksgiving.
