Just Jared's Winter 2012 Television Preview

It’s currently the holiday season, so if you are like us, you are probably waiting on pins and needles for your favorite shows to return from hiatus.

This winter we are anticipating the return of many of our favorite fall shows, such as Modern Family, Revenge, Glee, New Girl, and Two and a Half Men, as well as the mid-season premieres of The Walking Dead and Pretty Little Liars.

Some brand new shows to look forward to are Showtime’s House of Lies, Fox’s Alcatraz and The Finder, NBC’s Smash and Are You There, Chelsea?, and ABC’s GCB and The River.

Of course, we also can’t wait for the new seasons of American Idol and The Voice!

My favorite shows are NCIS, Army Wives and Rizzoli & Isles. All three are overlooked when it comes time for awards. Instead some of the crappiest shows on TV win. I don’t understand this at all. Army Wives is on Lifetime and Rizzoli & Isles is on TNT, I guess that is why they don’t get awards.

You forgot AMC’s Hell on Wheels, back on January 1 and TNT’s Southland, back on January 17. Also, AMC’s Mad Men will return in March.

@Athalia: This was a list of returning shows. the bones show coming up is the season finale. Just look it up on I believe it is because of the real pregnancy of the star.
