OlderLady Gaga: New Year's Eve Performance!
Lady Gaga hits the stage in the middle of Times Square to perform a medley of her hits on New Year’s Eve (December 31) in New York City.
The 25-year-old singer started her performance with her song “Heavy Metal Lover” before segueing into her hits “Marry the Night” and “Born This Way.”

Gaga began her performance wearing a sequined octopus suit and then stripped out of it to reveal a ball surrounding her head.
A few minutes after she performed on Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve telecast, Gaga joined Mayor Michael Bloomberg to launch the ball drop to mark the new year.

God she is so gross. I can’t believe people actually think this THING is talented with it’s tired get ups and voice so laden with effects it sounds like an echo going through the Grand Canyon. Once an for all people…THIS THING IS NOT TALENTED! One last this. The ***** didn’t even sing a full song. When you start blurring your songs together in melodies that’s not good, That means you know people are getting tired of your antics and you have to rush through a set to keep people’s interests. Same thing happened to Paula Abdul and Cyndi Lauper. Once the novelty wears off…bye bye.
Destroyed Britney’s career? I don’t think so. If anything she’s shown that Britney is capable of holding her own against an overhyped flash in the pan. No performer can expect to be constantly on top of the charts which will always be dominated by novelty acts but Britney has proved she’s capable of staying for the long haul like Madonna.
And ps Gaga: J-lo already wore this get-up minus the mask thing and it looked just as stupid on her too.

@ICYNDICEY: Wow… you certainly don’t recognize talent and a good voice… HOW YOU DARE saying that Cindy Lauper was using tricks… her talent is unbelievable… she has an amazing voice and still rocks. So does Gaga, have you heard her a cappella? Well, if you even know what that is… Just research and look for it. Gaga is a performance artist, and most above all, a musician. You can go back with your prejudices to where you came from.

(Since the performance was “…so laden with effects…”) As a 46 year old who has been a musician and music lover, I am tireedof the synthesised sound too! But, she does much more thanthat. So sorry you didn’tlike it, BUT she is uniue and talented, andmaybe your right won’t last though, (That’s why they callit “15 minutes” of fame though!) Just sounds like you are what they call now adays a “Hater” though-hope not, but think so.)

Ugh. Sick of this pre-packaged schtick. She puts on this “from the streets” act, she is really from a well to do Upper West Side, NYC family. Went to private school. Early clips of her on youtube are of a regular teenage girl with frizzy brown hair playing a keyboard. Check it out.
