Eva Longoria Covers 'Health' January 2012

Eva Longoria is pretty in pink on the cover of Health magazine’s January 2012 issue.

Here’s what the 36-year-old Desperate Housewives actress, who wore a BCBGMAXAZRIA top, had to share with the mag:

On defining a healthy life: “I remember after my divorce, I was so thin and everyone kept saying how great I looked and it was probably the most unhealthy place I’ve ever been.”

On the pressure to keep up with being “beautiful” in Hollywood: “…It takes a village to build me for the red carpet. It’s an illusion created by stylists, hair, makeup. I don’t put as much effort into it as my team does.”

On her biggest health regret: “That time I became a vegan. I love the philosophy behind veganism, but I went from one day eating chicken and meat to eating just salad.”

    You know your career is in decline when you are on the cover of this magazine. This rag never gets it right, and their so called “health” advice is not credible. Leave this mess on the newstand!

    I also don’t care for her because of the open borders vision that she has as an Hispanic. These people don’t think they should have to abide by our laws on immigration and criminality that goes with it. She and the rest of these latino, spoiled, phoney communists need to pack their bags for the long trip back never to return.

    @AmericanMike: how racist of you
    anyway, she is too thin that is sure right.
    and she should eat other things than just a SALAD

    I LOVE how “AmericanMike” who believes in a meritocracy thinks he merits being an American simply by being born here. The luck of birth – you try to pretend like people have control over where and to whom they are born. You’re no better than anyone else. You had no say in where you were born – you did nothing to MERIT being an American citizen and now you try to hold it over others like you are so much better than they are. People like you are just affirmative action for patriotism – you have an entitlement view to a status you did NOTHING personally to earn as a newborn infant. Lame IGNORANT racist and a-hole – you have no true American values.

    Are you for real ” he did nothing to merit being born American”…. is this the next step for progressives and liberals , now people don’t have a right to their nationality or heritage , it’s ‘ ONE ‘ big world and everyone has a right to anyone else wealth or nation”.

    A nation is built by PEOPLE, America was just dirt and land , like Mexico, or any other nation, it wasn’t built by immigrants it became America because of settlers, who turned a piece of land into a society of laws and rules through their tears, sweat and blood, a society and nation that reflected THEIR character or quality, quality and character that each consecutive generation improved, until now.

    ———————————————————————————–

    Look up a nation….a body of PEOPLE sharing common descent, history, language and character…… not a piece of land , that some people are ‘ fortunate ” to be born on and anyone can occupy.

    You can’t choose what country you are born in. It doesn’t make you a better person simply by virtue of emerging out of the birth canal in a certain geographical part of the world. UNLESS of course you feel you are ENTITLED to something you didn’t EARN.
