'Martha Stewart Show' Ending Summer 2012

The Martha Stewart Show will run through Summer 2012.

“The daytime block on Hallmark Channel demonstrated year over year ratings growth and earned The Martha Stewart Show two Daytime Emmy Awards in its first season on Hallmark Channel,” a rep for the show tells JustJared.com. “That show will continue to air through the end of summer 2012. MSLO and Hallmark Channel are in discussions about potential new programming and concepts for daytime.”

The New York Post reported that the show will end after its current season due to low ratings.

Martha also got some bad news this week from the Home Depot – the home superstore confirmed to the Post that it will no longer sell Martha Stewart Living branded paint and will continue with “a more limited agreement with Stewart that gives customers the ability to mix Martha’s color palette into Glidden-branded paints.”

Oh how the mighty have fallen!

I actually like Martha, but I have to admit that her show is somewhat boring. How many times is she going to be doing the same things? Besides, the show lacked any celebrity guests.

However, I’d take Martha over that obnoxiously annoying Rachel Ray any day!

Rachel Ray is likable and doesn’t hump her daughters sloppy seconds.

Opra and Maaatha should go on a long hunting trip in Alaska preferably.
