Hugh Jackman flashes a smile as he walks his daughter Ava to school on Tuesday (January 3) in New York City.

The 43-year-old Aussie actor was joined by his wife Deborra-Lee Furness while Ava, 6, rocked a cute SpiritHoods Snow Leopard hood and rode her scooter.

“Happy new year to you….here is to a safe, healthy and peaceful new year,” Hugh wrote on his Twitter account over the weekend. “All be happy.”

Hugh‘s one-man show, Back on Broadway, reportedly broke a new record by bringing in $2,057,354 in ticket sales in the show’s final week.
