Meryl Streep: 'Iron Lady' Paris Premiere!

Meryl Streep receives a bouquet of flowers at the premiere of her film The Iron Lady held at the Cinema Gaumont Marignan on Friday (January 6) in Paris, France.

Earlier in the week, the 62-year-old actress premiered the film in London.

“There are so many secrets in many lives that we’ve already decided we know everything about. I really like to portray prickly people, or people that are just, sort of, ‘difficult women’, on a certain level,” Meryl said to a Scottish newspaper about playing Margaret Thatcher, who many dislike. “It’s imagining Margaret Thatcher as a human being, which is very hard for some people.”

FYI: Meryl is wearing a black wool coat and a black stingray minaudiere by Ferragamo.
