Christina Aguilera Covers 'Marie Claire' February 2012

Christina Aguilera takes the cover of Marie Claire‘s February 2012 issue, on newsstands Tuesday (January 17).

Here’s what the 31-year-old singer and celebrity coach on The Voice had to share:

On her body: “I’ve been through my highs, I’ve been through my lows; I’ve been through the gamut of all things in this business. Being too thin. Being bigger. I’ve been criticized for being on both sides of the scale. It’s noise I block out automatically. I love my body. My boyfriend loooves my body. My son is healthy and happy, so that’s all that matters to me.”

On single motherhood: “It’s hard not having the consistency of a partnership on a daily basis. It’s a struggle. But I can’t single out my ex-husband [as the problem] because he’s a devoted father and great with my son. We always make sure that we put Max first. I have help from family and good people around me in support of my career. I couldn’t do what I do without a strong team behind me.”

FYI: Christina rocked an Emporio Armani blazer and a Marlies Dekkers bodysuit for her shoot.

EVERY SINGLE photo in magazines is photoshoped.

Christina is drop-dead Gorgeous.

She looks so beautiful in these pictures!
I wish she was so natural all the time!
Can’t wait to see her on The Voice!

She looks great here!

She’s not that humongous, you know. You make it seem like she’s as big as Africa.

Anyway, she’s such a stunning woman. Who cares about her weight – look at that face! It’s flawless with less make up. Funny how girls use make up to look pretty but in her case she doesn’t seem to need it much.

I’m not her fan but I must say that I really like her comment about single motherhood. I hate when divorced mothers, for example Reese Witherspoon, who raises her children together with her ex-husband, talk like they were all alone and their lives were so hard, like for the “real” single mothers who have no support from the fathers. I’ve read some inteviews with Reese and she talked like father of her children wasn’t there and dramatized her hard single mother life without the help. Christina acknowledges her ex-husband’s devotion to their son and doesn’t do usual bad-mouthing or public dirty laundry and it’s refreshing, although it should be the norm.

Really, really bad photoshopping. It’s a shocker that the Editor-in-Chief actually saw and approved this. It’s like they tried to thin out her face.

she seriously looks gorgeous and i think she has grown up a lot since she has had her child and divorced.
wish her all the best

lmao. she isn’t the one who photoshop the pics loser. the photographer does.

She looks really good. I love her body too

i think shes stunning and a really beautiful person on the inside and out. people need to stop judging her on her image and focus on her talent. shes got curves and shes embracing them, brilliant rolemodel to girls and ladies all around the world. she represents girl power, love her!

She looks so much better when she wears clothing that fits and goes with subtle makeup. I wish she’d darken her hair a little bit too. She should stick with this look.

Looking good Xtina!!!! I like it when she goes easy on the makeup!!!

Want to see what happens when paparazzi get bored with chasing celebs and turn the cameras on each other? It’s Hilarious!!!

ok WOW that cover is STUNNING.
it’s really something to be said when someone actually looks their absolute BEST with minimal makeup.

paid comments much? or xtina have too much time commenting about herself? U there Xtina?

For once a woman ( or human) that doesn’t dishes on her ex for the sake of her child. good.

so damn beautiful.

I know she said “I love my body” first, but I still get the feeling that her boyfriend’s approval is more important to her about her body than her own, which is sad to me. I think she kind of just blew the opportunity of self-embracing her figure by saying she likes it because her boyfriends loves it.

fan megan fox @ 01/10/2012 at 3:09 pm

in fact looks very old

She’s soooo right about how weight is so criticised from both sides. Some people on gossip boards seem so incredible fussy about a woman’s weight, like 125lb = OMG too skinny eat a cheeseburger but 129lb= whoa, porking up, go work out! Christina fluctuates quite dramatically from skinny to voluptous and back which is bound to attract comments, but the thing is the media don’t just *comment* they go on and on and on when all Christina wants is to be known for her singing. It has to get frustrating, I think I’d be paranoidly trying to gain weight one minute and paranoidly trying to lose it the next.

She looks really nice and it’s cool to know there are females in the industry not obsessed with being a size zero. I think that she looks nice in this picture, I know she might have been photoshopped (not hate but you know they photoshop everything) but she’s not squished into it. She looks awesome bigger, hopefully she will set a healthier trend in Hollywood.

In a lot of interviews she says I Love my Curves…What you have Xtina is Fat not Curves..But if you Love your Fat dress for the body you have now..You can’t photo shop LIVE Performances…Also to bad she doesn’t Love her Skin the way she loves her Fat because that color she has been spraying on for years doesn’t exist on this Planet.
