Rooney Mara holds boyfriend Charles McDowell‘s hand while taking a stroll through NYC’s Soho neighborhood on Wednesday (January 11).
The couple did some shopping at the rag & bone boutique before heading to JFK International Airport to catch a flight.

The night before, Rooney, 26, was honored with the Breakthrough Performance Award at the National Board of Review’s annual gala for her role in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
The thriller, which co-stars Daniel Craig, so far has grossed almost $80 million in the United States.

How long have they been together?
I didn’t really care for her before The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo but she was fantastic.
In interviews she comes across as really shy and she doesn’t like attention. All I can say, she better prepare because this role is already changing her life.
