Kate Winslet poses on the red carpet as she arrives at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 15) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 36-year-old actress wore a Jenny Packham gown, Roger Vivier shoes, and Fred Leighton jewels to the star studded event.
Kate is up for Best Performance by an Actress In A Mini-series for her work in HBO’s Mildred Pierce and Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture for her work in Carnage.
The 2012 Golden Globes airs live TONIGHT at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT on NBC. Ricky Gervais hosts for the third time!

Sometimes I wonder if the height of the photographer vs. height of actress impacts how someone looks? She looks shorter here than she usually does and it’s throwing me off.

That is an unfortunate dress and it doesn’t look flattering on her….and ya, I agree the photographer’s height seems to have a lot to do with the photos that turn out. She looks short and a little chubby than some of the pics I’ve seen of her lately. Or…maybe she gained weight..I donno.
is she dating someone new? there was a guy with her at the GG and when she won he didn’t kiss her- and the camera showed it- very awkward- goes to show being a celeb doesnt mean lucky in love. still, she is a classy lady for sure
