Rafael Nadal Wants Two Wimbledon Wins in 2012
Rafael Nadal attends Bacardi Limited’s “Champions Drink Responsibly” event at Encore St. Kilda on Thursday (January 12) in Melbourne, Australia.
The 25-year-old Spanish tennis champ, who’s in town for the Australian Open, recently talked about his goals for another Grand Slam tournament – winning twice at Wimbledon this summer.
“It’s the best tennis club in the world so to have the chance to enjoy it as usual and then at the Olympics [a few weeks later] will be something completely different, amazing,” he told the Sydney Morning Herald.
“Confidence is the most important thing in this sport and the confidence from winning Wimbledon would make it easier to win the Olympics,” Rafa added. “Either would be difficult, both even more – but the winner at Wimbledon will be the favorite for the Olympics. It can happen.”
