Sarah Michelle Gellar strikes a pose at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards held at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 15) in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The 34-year-old actress paired a blue and white ink blot print faille strapless tufted ball gown by Monique Lhuillier with Bulgari jewels.
Sarah dished that her daughter, Charlotte, acted as her stylist for the big night.
“My 2-year-old walked in … said, ‘Mama, wear this!’ I let her pick all of it,” she told reporters.

Alright alright alright! I actually LOVE her hair, make up and smile in these pictures but I HATE the dress. Ugh. It’s so washed out and ugly. Who told her this was pretty?! That person needs a good kick in the butt. This dress is AWFUL. Still like her though!

Awful dress, great hair and make-up, killer smile : ) The tie-dyed effect doesn’t suit the shape of the dress AT ALL! Can’t put a print that dress on a dress that big.

I know people hate this dress, but I find it to be a clever choice. It stands out and she’s making a statement.
Everyone else’s dress is so boring and safe. Kudos for her pulling her hair back, and allowing the dress to take centerfold.
