Jake Gyllenhaal: Breakfast with Busy Philipps

Jake Gyllenhaal covers up in a hoodie as he steps out for breakfast on Saturday (January 14) in Los Angeles.

The 31-year-old actor met up with Cougar Town actress Busy Philipps, her husband, Marc Silverstein, and their daughter, Birdie!

Last night, Jake wore a black Salvatore Ferragamo double breasted tuxedo as he presented the introduction for My Week With Marilyn at the 2012 Golden Globe Awards – the film was nominated for Best Comedy or Musical.

They are godparents to Matilda Rose Ledger. Hopefully they spend time with her individually and together. Happy that they seem to be good friends.

I’m glad you brought this up. I’m surprised that so few people seem to know that they are the godparents to Michelle and Heath’s daughter.
Busy and Michelle are still quite close and it’s AWESOME to see that Jake has stepped up in his role. This world is full of transient friends and empty promises, and it’s sort of sad to have to applaud the few “good ones” out there…Jake seems to be great with kids all-around…he seemed to genuinely care about Reese’s kids when they were together and it’s not uncommon to see pics of him with his sister and her child.
