Here’s what the New Girl actress, who wore Louis Vuitton, had to share:
On her persona: “Because I have brown hair and a low voice, I would get cast as dry, sarcastic, ironic people, which I can do, but it’s just not my sense of humor. I’m a very positive person. I get excited easily, and I like to jump around.”
On being bullied in school: “Girls spit in my face, people were so mean to me, I’d cry every day.”
FYI: Zooey celebrates her 32nd birthday TODAY (January 17) – happy birthday!

I’m always confused whenever I see Katy Perry or Zooey Deschanel. I thought they were the same person.
Zooey is a amazing singer and actress i love her, new girl, she & him… Fantastic person.

@oslec: She’s older than Katy Perry and she’s been in the industry way longer than her. So, technically Katy Perry is the clone. ;)
She’s too old to play the “cutesy” roles. It’s cringe-worthy.

do ppl really get spit on , amd treated this badly?? I feel like celebrities are always talking about how before they were famous.. girls would pick on them, they r outsiders etc …. im not trying to be ignorant by any means … but is it true??
I mean in hs I was nvr involved with the ‘popular’ kids but ppl were respectful still…
@Lila: I agree I find this LADY so annoying it’s like FOX is trying so hard to make her happen she is an okay actress and that is all. Music Sucks.
It’s not uncommon. A lot of actors are introverted people so that makes them targets and seem “weak” to the popular kids. and a lot had awkward looks and grew into their attractiveness later in life. while most of the popular kids look haggard as hell now. just look on facebook

its not just actors that are outcasts.. i think they say it to seem more ‘normal’ but compared to how people are bullied today i think they had it easy… Also, as much as i like zooey d. i think she needs to drop this cute act.. shes in her 30s so i find it a little creepy.
