OlderAdriana Lima Wants to Meet the Dalai Lama, Lose Her Accent
Adriana Lima shows off her gorgeous gams in a short white dress at the IWC Schaffhausen Top Gun Gala at the Palexpo Exhibition Hall on Tuesday (January 17) in Geneva, Switzerland.
The 30-year-old Brazilian supermodel joined CEO George Kern at the bash, where she later changed into a blue dress.
Adriana recently revealed some of her ambitious New Year’s resolutions.
On the Victoria’s Secret model’s list: learn how to play piano, do some more boxing, get a driver’s license, meet the Dalai Lama, and take speech classes to help her get rid of her accent!
FYI: Adriana is wearing Rene Caovilla shoes with both outfits.

Sophia speaks much better English, and much clearer. Her accent is both sexy and charming.
Adriana’s however sound horrible when she tries to speak English. And it isn’t pretty to watch, either. She opens her mouth too wide, yet still seems to be speaking trough a mouth full of marbles.
She’s smart to want to soften her accent. Many endorsement deals require their spokesperson to actually speak clearly (inagine that). Sophia has several endorsement deals, and is on American commercials quite frequently. Adriana can’t even get VS to give her a speaking part..

so overrated!!!! she looks like a bucked tooth beaver and has been modeling for over 10 years yet only has 5 vogue covers! LMAO! horrible! Not a true model. what happened to SUPERmodels like Cindy Crawford and Linda Evangelista who lived, breathed,, personified fashion! she needs braces. or mouthwash. rotten mouth. yucky.
I agree 2005 was her last good year. In 2006, she lost her 3 year boyfriend, Prince Wales of Liechtenstein and her father died…. So maybe that had some influence on her appearance because again, I agree she didn’t look good since. Even though Victoria’s Secret went south after 2002… 2006 is pushing it… she stayed (for the money and notoriety). In fact, most know her for just that, Victoria’s Secret.
She had potential to be a one of a kind, untouchable, deserving supermodel… before she foolishly wasted it.
