Awesome! I love the idea of laid back Jeff Goldblum playing Rachel’s dad. I think it’s going to be hilarious and Mitchell is awesome and very funny, I remember him as Hilary’s boyfriend on Fresh Prince.

Hmmmm…I’m not too sure what I think yet. Jeff maybe but I’m not sure who the other guy is..well you tube is calling!

Oh, good Lord. No wonder this show’s ratings are tanking. Everything has to be about gays.

# 4

great choice, i think it will be a great arc plot

Finally, a reason to be excited to watch Glee, again. I’ve been waiting to meet her dad’s for ages! And the current story lines have been so overdone. I’ve been quite bored with the show of late. Glad to see something new!

In the first episode Rachel had a photo of her parents and one were white and the other were black, and she explained nobody knows wich the father cause they mix their sperm or sothing that.

@big mama: Brian Stokes Mitchell’s ethnicity is African American.

WHAT ???
I thought one of rachel’s dads is BLACK !
and they certainly don’t look like the photo she keeps in her locker !!!

I’m sooooo excited for Jeff to be on there!!!! =D

I thought they already showed her dadson the episode in season two when they have a party at Rachel’s house…

Ah, well. Personally, I would’ve liked to have seen Michael Buckley from the What the Buck Show play one of the dads (his idea), but whatever. Rachel’s dads should get married.

Um…there was a photo of her dads in her locker in like the first episode. Part of the joke is one was black and one was white…I don’t get this

They’re both great, great actors! But jeez I was all excited about her black dad. That would have been great to see I thought it was adorable in the first episode! “I am not homophobic. In fact, I have two gay dads. See, I was born out of love. My two dads screened potential surrogates based on beauty and IQ. Then they mixed their sperm together and used a turkey baster. To this day we don’t know which one is my real dad, which I think is pretty amazing.”
That still makes me lol so but. The continuity on the show lately kind of sucks so eh! I shouldn’t be surprised. Guess we’ll see how it goes.

@Blondie Michael Buckley is a no-talent gossip hack who does nothing but TRASH several members of the Glee cast. I’ve stopped watching him all together because of the nasty way he talks about people (not just Glee cast members).

To the uninformed: Brian Stokes Mitchell IS African-American. He’s a light-skinned black man, but still black. I believe he has some European heritage mixed with his African ancestry. But what is more fantastic is his voice. Youtube him. You won’t be disappointed. Also, he first worked with Lea Michele when she was “The Little Girl” in Ragtime, for which he was nominated for a Tony. Goldblum is also an inspired choice. Fabulous casting!

And who cares if they’re not exactly who was in the picture. All they need was to have one white dad and one black dad and I’m happy. They did that, and they cast them brilliantly!

Yes Brian Stokes Mitchell is black. He’s mixed.
