OlderTaylor Swift: 'Ethel' Premiere at Sundance!
Taylor Swift arrives at the premiere of Ethel during the 2012 Sundance Film Festival on Friday (January 20) in Park City, Utah.
The 22-year-old country cutie, in Kymerah’s “Chrysalis” coat, was joined by filmmaker Rory Kennedy and her mother, Ethel, who’s the subject of the documentary.

“Went to Sundance to see Rory Kennedy‘s documentary about her mother, @Ethel_Movie. It was moving, hilarious, and beautiful,” Taylor wrote on her Twitter account on Friday night.

Taylor Swift is the opposite of ‘famewhore’. She is living proof that you don’t need to be a total **** and attention seeker to become popular. I think she’s the only decent actress/singer among her peers of disney stars.
Isn’t it a bit tacky to show up to a film festival when you have no movie to promote?

@Charlie: Sorry, but please youtube one of her live performances. She is atrocious. Just because she isn’t a slút, doesn’t mean she isn’t a famewhóre. She faked a relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal, for a start. I usually don’t care for speculations like that, but it was so obvious that was artifical as that one gossip rag just happened to have ‘exclusive pictures’ of them.

@BloodbuzzOhio: Don’t get me wrong, I’m not like a big fan of her’s. So I don’t follow her career, but she just seems like a really down to earth person. As for faking a relationship, if she did do that, then that’s quite lame. Maybe she is a famewho-re like you say, but when compared to her peers she seems like a total angel.

@Charlie: Does that mean any oddball fan then can show up and get a photo op with the subject of the documentary? I’m not dissing Taylor, I’m just saying , it seems a bit weird she would show up when she has nothing to do with the film. If it was an actor promoting another movie at the festival I understand, but Taylor as far as I’m aware has nothing to promote. It just seems a bit photo opish to me.
If I had the opportunity to go to Sundance, I would go in a heartbeat. Taylor obviously had the opportunity to attend, so she went and enjoyed herself. There is nothing attention-seeking about her outfit or makeup, and it might not have even been her wishes to do a photo-op. Quit condemning her for being a famewh0re.
