OlderKatharine McPhee & Megan Hilty: 'Smash' Premiere!
Katharine McPhee hits the red carpet in style at the premiere of her NBC show Smash held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Thursday (January 26) in New York City.
The 27-year-old actress and singer, in Donna Karan, was joined on the carpet by her co-star Megan Hilty!
“If it wasn’t for Glee we wouldn’t be here,” producer Craig Zadan said to the Chicago Sun-Times about the show. “Even through our show is radically different from Glee, there’s that common element of music and dance in each episode.”
Joining the Smash ladies at the premiere, which was hosted by The Cinema Society and Volvo, was Angelica Huston, Raza Jaffrey, and Jaime Cepero.

anyway… this show’s gonna be awesome… saw the pilot and I reallly liked it
Katherine is a good singer but far from a good actress.
Saw the first episode and yeah, the show is gonna be hit.
The pilot was just OK. I will continue to watch and hopefully it will get better. I don’t like Megen Hilty that much and wish they would have gotten a better Broadway star for the show.
I HATE musicals! Surprise, surprise, I loved Smash. I don’t like the Megan HIlty character, and I think Angelica is way too over botoxed and looks so fake, but otherwise loved the show. Ive always loved Katherines voice and was pleasantly surprised at how good her acting was. Prefer her much over Hilty. The other characters just add that quirkiness needed. I think this will be a hit. lol Kat still has that engaging awkwardness when she poses. Like she doesnt know what to do with her arms and legs and shes never been a fashionista but still is a lovely woman.

Regarding #5 Diana’s comment, Anjelica Huston looks beautiful and she doesn’t do botox, before spreading lies know the facts, idiot. The show is going to be a hit @Diana:
