Meryl Streep and Glenn Close arrive at the 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (January 29) in Los Angeles.
Both actresses were nominated for Oustanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role – Glenn for Albert Nobbs and Meryl for The Iron Lady
Glenn, who was also up for Female Actor in a Drama Series for Damages, paired a Zac Posen gown with Fred Leighton jewelry, Christian Louboutin shoes, and a Swarovski clutch.
Meryl wore a Vivienne Westwood Couture gown to with Fred Leighton jewels.

Glenn Close looks phenomenal!
I think Streep’s dress was just awful. I mean take it off and burn it. Really gastly.
I love both of them, true legends.
BUT: Meryl’s dress looks plain awful. Glenn looks ravishing!
Love how Meryl Streep dresses for the red carpet – just like Jodie Foster, but not in terms of style but in terms of COMFORT. She looks classy and comfortable, and hasn’t given in the urge to show skin since she clearly doesn’t feel like it.
