@louli: Maybe they are not fresh faces anymore? Emma Stone already had a solo cover and Kristen Stewart has already shoot for Vanity Fair in Paris lately. Those people featured are newcomers and they have been in the spotlight for a year or two. I don’t understand why people don’t read the the front- they are talking about fresh faces!
@Mofer: It’s her blank stare that ALWAYS irritates me. Will it kill her to show a little emotion in those eyes?? Isn’t acting supposed to be about conveying emotion through the screen?
I’ll never understand why Lawrence is an actress. Does Hollywood consider it acting just to look bored, blank-faced, dead-eyed, and expressionless all the time? That’s how she looked in Winter’s Bone and X-Men First Class, and trust me, I’ve seen those movies. Isn’t acting supposed to be about conveying emotion so that it manages to reach out and touch people through the screen? I don’t understand why Hollywood considers staring blankly at people worthy of an Oscar nomination.
