Mia Wasikowska & Jesse Eisenberg: 'Double' Stars!

Mia Wasikowska and Jesse Eisenberg are set to star in the upcoming film The Double.

The movie, inspired by the Fyodor Dostoyevsky book by the same, tells the story of an insignificant man driven to near breakdown by the appearance of his doppelganger, Variety reports.

Richard Ayoade (Mighty Boosh, The IT Crowd) co-wrote the film with Avi Korine.

Mia most recently starred opposite Glenn Close in Albert Nobbs; Jesse will hit the big screen opposite Melissa Leo in the upcoming dramedy Predisposed.

    Jared, I think you got it wrong. The movie synopsis is based on a novel (also named The Double) by Portuguese author José Saramago.
