Here’s what the 35-year-old True Blood and Magic Mike hunk shared with the mag:
On dabbling in the music industry: My best friends are music producers, DJs, lead singers … I love art and museums and music and culture. It’s always been a passion and a hobby. I was a roadie for my friend’s rock band Goldfinger and I’ve done some backup and spoken word on some friends’ albums over the years.
On his real-life heroes: Anyone in the U.S. armed forces, fighting
for the best interests of our country … and, of course, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
On what he dislikes the most: L.A. drivers … who are, in large part, mindless idiots.
FYI: Joe wore a Levi’s Red Chambray button up shirt at the shoot.

I wish he’d stop shaving his chest, I mean seriously? Look at his thick facial hair, and then all of a sudden not even a wisp on his chest? Yeah right… /rolleyes
Strangely enough, he’s even shaven his arms here, can’t quite remember if that’s always the case, but anyway – it looks bad and detracts from his rugged looks.

@Blair: Joe has stated multiple times that he is naturally hairless. He doesn’t remove his body hair. He just doesn’t have any. It’s rare but happens sometimes.
Joe is usually very nice. This is a long interview with some of the questions essentially asking the same thing over and over. He said that he is tired and it’s past his bedtime at the end of the interview, so let’s cut Joe some slack. He looks gorgeous as always. He’s very photogenic. And yes, he is a big lovable dork.

No, he’s an egomaniac – always was and always will be. There are plenty of people back in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pa that can attest to that.

As a huge Joe Manganiello fan I’d have to say that you must know nothing about him if you think he shaves his body hair. If you care enough to find his background story you can tell why he is so (as you call it) ‘dorky’.
