Katherine Heigl Explores Her German Roots

Katherine Heigl and her momager Nancy visit Esslingen Town Hall on Friday (February 3) in Esslingen, Germany.

The 33-year-old actress, in town to promote One for the Money, met with Mayor Juergen Zieger, signed the city’s “Golden Book,” and explored her German origins.

“Very cool day today in Germany – and not just because of the wintry weather!” Katherine tweeted. “So grateful to get the chance to visit my grandfather’s house – to see where he grew up before leaving for America.”

FYI: Katherine is wearing a Ferragamo coat with Casadei pumps and a pair of BaubleBar “Gold Wreath Drop” earrings.
