Luke Kirby, who is one of the co-stars of this movie, is so talented. Watch out USA, Luke is a force!!!

Michelle Williams? In a movie which isn’t obviously made for the Academy to consider for best picture? This is new.

@Andrea:

She might be over the top with her Oscar campaign and it annoys me as well, but your statement is unfair considering her work history. Her movies are usually rather small and indie, with no chance for big awards, like Meek’s Cutoff, Wendy and Lucy, Mammoth or this one. Even Blue Valentine wasn’t exactly the Academy Award kind of movie and it was a big surprise she was nominated. I think that Take This Waltz is closer to her comfort zone than the role of Marilyn.

no more from her after these next 2 films please. she is blah, blah, and more blah. go be a mommie and go away.

@Andrea: this is seriously a dumb statement. why -wouldnt- u choose a film u thought could potentially earn awards??

@vicki:

Yup! He’ll always be Mambo Italiano to me, though. lol

@Andrea: What the hell are you talking about? Michelle mostly makes independent films, not ‘Oscar’ films.

Michelle’s acting reminds me of Gwen Paltrow’s …one dimensional and boring as heck…she has same facial expression in all her movies. Very overated, she should stay in Indie movie’s because they are not seem by many….she doesn’t deserve an oscar for Marilyn she is bland and did a terrible job as Marilyn…

@just sayin’ Gwenyth Paltrow? You’re kidding right? Williams can act around Paltrow in cirlces. I guess you haven’t seen her work in ****, which was a dark comedy, in Blue Valentine, intense acting there, and Wendy and Lucy one of the best performances in 2008. There’s no comparison.
