Marion Cotillard cuddles up with her son Marcel on the set of her film Low Life on Thursday (February 9) in New York City.
The 36-year-old actress has been filming the flick in the city for several weeks, and was surprised by a special visit from her adorable son!

Earlier in the week on Monday (February 6), Marion and her Low Life co-star Joaquin Phoenix were spotted walking on set together.
In the film, Marion takes on the character of Sonja, a Polish woman who tries to emigrate to America. Look out for the film in theatres sometime this year!

Why is Marcel a terrible name? It’s a traditional name of Latin origin, not some weird Pilot Inspektor, Crimefighter Peanut kind. I’ve heard that in France it is more like an old-fashioned kind of name associated with grandfathers not babies, but in some other European countries, like mine and I’m Polish, Marcel is currently one of the most popular names given to boys. I have always loved it and my 7-year old nephew is named Marcel.
