Jeremy Lin: LINsanity Beating Kobe Bryant!

Jeremy Lin: LINsanity Beating Kobe Bryant!

Jeremy Lin takes the sports world by storm scoring 38 points, as his New York Knicks defeated Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers, 92-85, at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Friday (February 10).

The 23-year-old Harvard educated NBA basketball player has exploded on social media (including tons of puns)- trending on Twitter and showing up all over Facebook. LINsanity has been coined, as well as Lin-ning and All we do is Lin, Lin, Lin! Celebs came out for the game including Ben Stiller, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Spike Lee and Justin Tuck of the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants. Jeremy has also drawn comparisons to Tim Tebow – not only for their newfound success, but their faith as well. Looks like Jeremy has found fans already in Rainn Wilson, Shane West, Sherri Shepherd and Spike Lee!

Jeremy recently did a video (while in between NBA teams) with Youtube star Ryan Higa (aka nigahiga), called “How to Get into Harvard”! Looks like studying actually pays off!

I remember hearing about this kid since last year. There was some controversy about how long it took him to get drafted in the NBA.
Good to see him living up to his potential.

Lin beating Kobe Bryant? NO BIG DEAL! Man, can anybody in the NBA players now the likes of Lebron, Durant, Westbrook and the rest of just anybody for this matter match up KOBE BRYANT FIVE, TAKE NOTE FIVE, CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS? MVP AWARDS, NO. 5 OVERALL NBA TOP SCORER, and many, many more? NOPE!!! NO ONE!!! so stop this one time only event that really is a lot hoopla!!! NY Knicks not even on 8 top NBA rosters for playoffs round. It is not easy to get one championship ring (take note of Lebron!) how much more of FIVE CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS! THAT’S SAYS A LOT, HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENT NOBODY CAN BEAT THAT! SO END OF DISCUSSION AND BE QUIET!

I don’t like basketball but since hearing about his story, I have been keeping up with him and finally watched a whole basketball game on ESPN when the Knicks played with the Lakers. It was a great game!
Hope he and the Knicks wins tonight’s and all week’s game!!
