OlderAlicia Keys - Grammys 2012 Red Carpet With Swizz Beatz
Alicia Keys and hubby Swizz Beatz arrive at the 2012 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.
The night before, the couple attended Clive Davis‘ pre-Grammy gala, where the 31-year-old singer paid tribute to her idol, Whitney Houston.
“You think about how this person touched you. You form a friendship, a sisterhood, a bond. You see how incredible they really are. She was a sister to me,” Alicia told the crowd.
“I’ll never forget This day when she came up to me and said ‘let’s work together!’ We’ve been sisters ever since,” Alicia also tweeted with a pic of her and Whitney.
FYI: Alicia is wearing a Alexandre Vauthier dress with Christian Louboutin shoes.

Alicia looks like an Amazon – and that tough look on her face. Miss Butch of the Grammys. I’d love to hear her rendition of the old song, “This Door Swings Both Ways.” (her husband and especially his costume looks more feminine than she does.)
I don’t like the hair. I oddly like the shoes though!
She truly is a gorgeous gal…inside and out…however, the hair is too extreme..maybe on Gaga it would be expected…it should have just been slickly pulled back to complete the chic look…

Where werer all these mofos when Whitney needed help? That’s the business for you, they either ignore or enable and when the result is death, they go overboard with tributes. I would rather have Whitney here….why did they not help her with her failing career and medical problems?? Whitney, we your fans love you. Rest with the angels where your voice will ring in the celestial choir.
Love Alicia. She’s a class act. I appreciate the respect she showed Whitney Houston by not walking the red carpet at the same hotel as her body lay.

You know the ins and outs of Whitney’s OWN desire to quit or continue down a dark path? You seem very sheltered and naive about addiction and other peoples friendships.
@david ouellette: Why are you still dwelling on her sexuality? Alicia is a beautiful woman no matter what she wears or how she chooses to fix her hair. She looks so beaufiful here. She likes to change things up and her hair is different here but it still looks amazing. So sad some people want her to be something she’s not. Love this lady.
