Chris Brown struts his stuff at the 2012 Grammy Awards held at Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.

The 22-year-old entertainer performed “Turn Up the Music” and “Beautiful People” and did a tribute to dance music with Lil Wayne, David Guetta and Foo Fighters.

Later in the evening, Chris picked up the award for Best R&B Album for his album F.A.M.E. Chris beat out El DeBarge, R. Kelly, Ledisi, and Kelly Price for the honor.

Chris was nominated for Best Rap Song and Best Rap Song Performance along with his “Look At Me Now” collaborators Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes, but lost out to Kanye West and friends.

He may be a giant d o u c h e bag but you can’t deny that he is talented. Although, after all the hype surrounding this performance prior to the show I was expecting something epic. But it was still pretty good.

I wonder how he felt about “womanbeater” trending on Twitter. He’s got moves, but it doesn’t count as a good performance if you lipsync.

After seeing real talent like Adelle it’s hard to watch this joke “perform” with auto-tuning and lip synching

all rihanna had to say was she wasnt performing on the same stage as chris and he would have been so GONE

but she has, unlike some, moved on

This looks like lip syncing sorry.

This song is good but he is lip syncing

Why did the Grammy’s let him perform twice? Was it part of his community service hours?

Sean Penn, Josh Brolin, Tommy Lee….a few other MEN that have been in trouble for spousal abuse. Rihanna has moved on and no one but the two of them know what all transpired that night. Can you say you never made a mistake? I hope you never make one for the world to see and need forgiveness.

By the way, so many people make a career of lip syncing their performances so they can give the audience a show. Brittney Spears is a billionaire with it. I would rather see a great visual performance than see a kid standing in one spot singing a dance tune.

i thought it was the best part of the show. Watched with 12 people.
while he was on, was the only time all eyes on t v and mouths closed.
great job chris! all your haters prob cant dance or lip sync.

I can’t believe that this awards show let this awful person perform. Domestic violence is never ok and it should be a career ender. So many other musicians have been blacklisted for drug use, public antics, whatever. But this guy beats his girlfriend until she is unrecognizable and gets to perform at the Grammys. What the hell?!

It would be useless to say ‘Unbelieveble’ as if the Grammys had a hint of morals. Its the misogynist gangsta wannabe mentality which has just condoned Chris Brown’s beat-down of Rihanna. It was always about the message beyond Rihanna because we know she was going to be alright. What about all of these unknown young women getting severely beaten by young punks who now have a role model Chris Brown?

Rihanna and these thousands of unknown women just got beaten again, this time by the pricks responsible for the Grammys.

@Lucy: What does what he have did 3 years ago have to do with today. You werent there that night. Your going by ear. Im pretty sure theirs are things you did in your life your not happy about. Please stop judging on something 3 years ago and talk about something that has to do with today. God bless you!!!

People need to quit bringing up the whole domestic violence situation. The man has learned from his mistakes so I don’t see the problem. If Rihanna’s over it then everybody else needs to get over it, it happened over two years ago anyway. Keep your head up Chris Brown and keep proving these haters wrong. Great performance too!

For u all to know, he has been blacklisted and did lose his carear. U can argue this is his biggest redemptions, yet everyone is like he hasn’t paid his dues. What more do u expect him to do, jump off a cliff live on tv
