Adele Covers 'Vogue' March 2012

Grammy juggernaut Adele takes the cover of Vogue‘s March 2012 issue.

Here’s what the 23-year-old singer had to share:

On having voice troubles: “I’ve been singing properly every day since I was about fifteen or sixteen, and I have never had any problems with my voice, ever. I’ve had a sore throat here and there, had a cold and sung through it, but that day it just went while I was onstage in Paris during a radio show. It was literally like someone had pulled a curtain over it.”

On her Grammy nominations: “I burst into tears when I found out. And I would love, absolutely love, to win. This record is coming to an end, and that would be the final brick on it.”

On her performance style: “I definitely think that less is more. I don’t think I could pull it off, doing an elaborate show. There are a couple of songs that are worthy of a few explosions and dancing teams and stuff like that. But I would feel really uncomfortable displaying my music like that. I just want to sing it. I don’t want to perform with my body.”

I adore Adele. She deserved the Grammy’s she won. Such a talent!

She is so beautiful. She doesn’t need to be in her underwear on stage in order to get attention, her voice is enough..and her beautiful songs.A true artist of this generation.

Adele’s amazing. American Vogue put a talented and beautiful woman on our cover…and the Brit’s put Lana del rey, a plastic faced terrible songwriter and rapper on their Vogue cover……America wins!

She is unbelievable! Beautiful, talented, confident, and ACTUALLY interesting! She doesn’t care about the glitz and the glam and she doesn’t need to use a computer to make her voice sound as amazing as it does. Keep on keeping on Adele, a REAL singer in the 21st century.

@jj: ahah so true !

She’s beautiful. Most importantly though, she’s really talented. I have a feeling that Vogue is going to fly off the shelves!

Gorgeous¡¡

She is beautiful, they didn’t have to photoshop her. So sad for Vogue they dont get it..So Happy for Adele she is Awesome..

Ridiculous that they would photoshop her she in my opinion is one of the most beautiful women out there. And I have to add that her boobs look great lol

i love that she keeps her performances simple. thats the best way to do it cause that way we can focus on the actual music and someone who has real talent and not the nonsense people continue to put out there. dont ever change adele!!! i hope she continues to make beautiful music =)

You guys know she has lost weight recently, right?

She has an incredibly gorgeous face. Don’t care if she doesn’t entertain like Lady Gaga or Rihanna, she’s a great talent and beauty on her own. Gorgeous voice and great lyrics.

She’s a pretty lady with a big voice, but her music is awful. Just awful.

I was almost sad to see at the Grammys that she had lost a lot of weight, I hope she didnt’ do it because of the critics

heytherebrits @ 02/13/2012 at 4:50 pm

actually she lost weight due to the surgery she had – apparently

BOOBIES!!!!!!!!

Brilliant singer. She’s simply a talented singer and doesn’t need the “performance art” c.r. a p . Hear that Gaga?

Did they have to use photoshop to slim her down?

Anyway, congrats on Grammy wins. Finally, real artists.

She has black features. Big lips and nose. Mmm!
