The 39-year-old burlesque artist recently chatted with Elle about her personal style.
“I don’t want to judge people – I guess it’s part of their career, maybe they don’t have the time – but I really like the satisfaction I get from creating my own red carpet looks and doing my hair and makeup,” Dita shared.
“When people say that I’m just a dumb stripper, I’m thinking, wow, but you’re really giving accolades to these stylists, hair, and makeup people that get everybody turned out and I’m holding my own up there?” she added.

This is not her best interview but I get what she’s saying. She puts in the time and effort and does her own styling and receives little credit for it while stylists get lots of public attention and praise.
Dita rocks and always looks amazing. There is no stylist that does a better job than her. She does that 40′s and 50′s glamor thing better than anyone. She must research those clothes. I am always in awe of her combinations and how she does it, I don’t know. Great lady.
I would love to spend a day in Dita’s closet.

It’s obvious that she does her own styling, hair, and makeup because she always looks EXACTLY the same and is very unflattering and aging. One trick pony. Here her makeup is a massive fail. She looks like a clown!
agree @Missy, although I do like her style iI love retro waves and red lips I mean she isnt being that creative or taking risks!! She does the same hair and makeup over and over again
