Miranda Kerr rocks the runway at the David Jones Autumn/Winter 2012 season launch, held at the David Jones Elizabeth Street store on Wednesday (February 15) in Sydney, Australia.
The 28-year-old Aussie model showed off her amazing post-baby body in short dresses and a suit!

No. Chanel, Dior, Prada, etc, are her HF work. This is just extra work. Kind of like VS is not HF, but is still very lucrative.
Are you saying that if a model does something IN ADDITION to HF work that she is not a HF model? Because if that’s the case, then almost NO model is a HF model. Not Gisele, not Karlie, not Lais, not Kate, not Ann, not ANYONE.

Miranda Kerr is a very nice and attractive lady, but I’m one of those haterz, sorry. I think she’s an example of the down and out state of our society when supermodels and other relatively vacuous individuals can earn tens millions of dollars doing…um…you fill in the blank here.
the world always seems to reward vacuous money-hungry individuals: kardashians, reality tv stars, models… the list goes on. I wish women valued brains over beauty- young women need better role models. A beautiful MIND is more attractive than a beautiful BODY!
Miranda is one of the best models out there. She’s very beautiful and is a very successful model.
Models are a commodity. They make money because the companies that they rep make money. Same with sports stars. The better the players, the better the team. The better the team, the more money the owners make, so the stars get the big bucks.
And aren’t you generalizing a bit by calling all models “vacuous”? Miranda might make a lot of money because of the way she looks, but she preaches health and well being, above outward beauty. She even wrote a book about treasuring the person that you are on the inside, and not basing your self worth on your looks.
She has also started her own successful skin care business. She is living proof that you can have brains, and be a ‘supermodel’.
Healthy, kind, fit and business savvy? That sounds like a great role model for young women. Unless you think that only homely women can be rolemodels? Is that another part of your generalization?
Miranda is a successful business woman. I like that she focuses and talks about staying fit and being healthy. That is very important. Miranda is a smart woman and it is great she has come out with her own organic skincare line. Does anyone on here use kora? I dont live in Australia but I want to order kora skincare products for my skin. Does anyone know how much the kora skincare products are? She comes across as sweet and kind too. She is a great role model for women out there.
I use Kora, and I love it. It isn’t cheap, but not any more expensive than other quality skincare. And the fact that it is organic is why I started using it. The shipping is high, since I live in the US. But I just make sure that I order it in larger quantities to spread out the shipping costs. I’ve used it for over a year, now, and I would never go back to my old brand.
I find it a bit hypocritical that you are complaining about the idolization of supposedly “vacuous” individuals on a gossip site. I guess that means that you support other “vacuous” celebs, just not models?
You’ve gotta admit there’s a huge difference between Cate Blanchett and celebs like Miranda Kerr who lack any innate talent! I visit JJ because I love films and appreciate great acting.
Miranda Kerr, god bless her hard work and well intentioned soul, sells a LIFESTYLE and all the products you *must* have to live that lifestyle.
Actors and musos and other artists make ART.
So actors who promote their films by making public appearances are OK, but models promoting a healthy lifestyle by making public appearances are not? Hmmm, interesting. They are both selling a product, are they not? The fact that you consider acting ‘art’, but fail to appreciate the ‘art’ of design is also interesting. And you still haven’t explained how you were able to lump someone like Miranda in with people who do “nothing”. She promotes health and fitness, as well as altruism and environmental responsibility. Hardly ‘nothing’ in my book.
Some of the most beautiful “art” that I have ever seen are portraits taken by fashion photographers of gee, you guessed it, MODELS.
You not only make sweeping generalizations, but you also seem to be a bit of a snob.

I love seeing pics of Orlando, Miranda,and Flynn. Miranda always looks so beautiful and stylish and Flynn is the cutest and Orlando is so handsome.
