OlderKristin Kreuk Starring in CW's 'Beauty & the Beast'
Kristin Kreuk is returning to the small screen and heading back to the CW!
The 29-year-old actress, who previously appeared in Smallville, has landed the female lead in the network’s drama pilot Beauty and the Beast, according to Deadline.
The show “centers on Catherine (Kreuk), a tough-minded NYPD Homicide Detective haunted by witnessing her mother’s murder nine years ago and the killers’ quick demise at the hands of a Beast. After years of searching, Catherine finally finds the Beast, Vincent Koslow, the survivor of a military experiment that went disastrously wrong, and becomes the protector of his secret life as a bestial superhero.”

This isn’t the 1st time she plays a Disney princess. She played Snow White previously. And I can see why, she’s beautiful!

I love the original Beauty and the Beat Pearlman was badass as they come n Linda well she’s SARA CONNER! I hate the CWB all their shows are aimed at tweens n ppl with NO IQ! this will suck n it will get cancled! I can’t believe there remaking this show .. n she wasn’t a freakin cop she was like a DA or a socialworker or something NOT A COP! already scruing it up wb !

I like KK, but why are they remaking this show, and what’s with the fairytale invasion? Emma Watson will play Belle in the live-action version of Beauty and the beast and now this, with 2 snow white movies opening this year, and Grimm and Once Upon a Time on tv.
Jack, the Giant Killer, Hansel and Gretel, Beastly, Red Riding Hood, etc.
It’s fairytale overkill.
Probably won’t watch this at all now, I think she’s cute but a wear actress and no way do I see her as a hard ass cop…
I will absolutely watch this! Kristin is amazing and a natural choice for this role. Can’t wait to see her on the small screen again!
