    seriously? Says:

@Jessica Rabbit: this is completely different from “Beautiful”…it’s about different subjects. “Beautiful” is about people criticizing her and her appearance, and her overcoming what they think and believing in herself. This is more about losing love, and wanting someone more than they want you. How is this anything like Christina’s “Beautiful” ?!?!?!?

The album has many good songs, this is one of my faves, but I don’t really like the video.

She gave horseface sleep around much a run for her money…..she is better looking and much more talented than blake lively.
The beautiful Brunette, leeghton Meester has been carrying the show and the acting to date…time to cancel gossip girl!

    LOL Says:

LOL @ the person who said “hauntingly beautiful”. SERIOUSLY? This is the most boring, generic, cheesy song ever with lyrics that sound like they were written by a 12 year old girl. The ENTIRE song is “You can’t__ me, Like I __ you”, followed by “And I want you in my life, and I need you in my life”. THATS IT!

The song is repetitive and about as original as hipster glasses. I also love how she is shown playing a guitar, which anyone who has seen them play fully knows Taylor doesn’t know how to play the guitar. In fact, even in the video she isn’t playing it right as she continues to play one chord when the song consists of multiple chords.

    Bridgett Says:

    @Jessica Rabbit:

Lord knows I loath Christina Aguilera, but you comparing this piece or generic trash to “Beautiful” is a crime. I actually LOVE “Beautiful”. Of course Christina didn’t write the song, so really it has little to do with her. But the melody of that song was incredible and haunting. This song is nothing more than a crappy acoustic typical chick love song. Its like a Michelle Branch type song, not my style. “Beautiful” was an all around classic song.

    Charlie Says:

@LOL: She’s pretending to play an instrument which goes to show how authentic she is. I wish she’d just be herself and stop trying so hard. I have a feeling I would really like her if she did.

  16. 16
    attentionnude Says:

The song is so boring! And she should get her fake hair cut. I also think she’s very young to make those nude scenes. It makes me think she just got famous for her ‘teen porn’ attitude.

    kate Says:

    awesome! her voice is just…awesome

    Anya Says:

No one can judge an artist by just one song, she can sing, she can play the guitar, she write her own songs, lot of you just dislike her so u will always dislike her music regardless.
Listen to Light me up, the entire album and most of you will eat your words.
why comparing all the time? this is Taylor and the pretty reckless, if you dont like her or her music just move along, what’s the point of just post a comment saying she’s a tard.
and by the way the nude/sex/love scenes were done by a double.

    ann Says:

I really like Tay . And to all of you who thinks that she is too much .
In america , you guys are way too conservative . This is a simple video for a really beautiful song :)

    carrienae Says:

What a nice song… I have to listen to her other songs.

  21. 21
    lynda Says:

LOL: sometimes fancy, poetic words are not needed to express situations and emotions that are deeply felt. I love the clean, spare simplicity of songs like this one. Strawberry swirls and bits of crunch is not better than Vanilla, just different. And sometimes Vanilla is much more fitting and appropriate. Check out some of the greatest songs in history and you will see what I mean.

  22. 22
    lynda Says:

And this is coming from someone who has never seen a single episode of Gossip Girl and never heard Taylor’s music. In fact, I just thought she was a trashy looking raccoon-eyed wanna be musician starlet before I heard this song. I was wrong.

  23. 23
    jenn Says:

Um no she CAN’T play the guitar actually. I have seen her live. She HOLDS the guitar and doesn’t actually play. She strums THE SAME 2 CHORDS during the chorus of ONE SONG, and then stands there holding it for her image.

She can sing? All I hear is her putting on a fake raspy voice like she is trying to imitate real rock singers.

And her music sucks as well. It is all generic **** we’ve heard 100000 times before. Name ONE THING that is unique, original about her music? It’s typical cliche poprock.

  24. 24
    Mish11 Says:

Her dumb 12 year old fans see her holding a guitar, and of course thats enough to convince them that she plays. I’ve seen her live too, she can’t play. Look at her album credits, she doesn’t play on a single song. Look at her live. She hold a guitar during one song, “My Medicine”, stands there with it, flicks one or 2 shords for a few seconds, and through most of the song she just holds it.

Taylor is a manufactured embarrassment. Just like Miley she was given an image and a record deal because shes an actress. The thing that annoys me is, there are REAL female rockers/musicians out there who aren’t popular, that actually have talent and are authentic. But because Taylor was on Gossip Girl, people look at her. How about you pay attention to REAL musicians who are making a name for themselves who didn’t have everything handed to them. And who aren’t using their fake “goth” gimmick to gain a fanbase of 13 year old girls.

It’s so sad how people are falling for it.

    lovelydee Says:

    This is actually my favorite
song on the album. It’s so beautiful
    and I love the video.
