The 34-year-old singer posted a 60-second clip of the track on his Tumblr page. It’s his first song since having throat surgery to treat granuloma.
“Here’s a clip of the first single off Born and Raised, called ‘Shadow Days.’ I’m excited to share the first bit of sound from the album … Been looking forward to a post like this since October 14, 2010, the first day I started writing this group of songs. Enjoy,” John wrote.

I LOVE John Mayer. He writes such pretty songs and has such a great voice- I just recently bought some of his albums and I love them. Go John! I also think he is very sexy. Some lucky woman is gonna get to marry him one day!

Genuinely real, writes his own lyrics, plays instruments, and can actually sing. What more could you ask for.. not to mention the fact that he is not bad looking. Glad to hear he is releasing music. Can’t wait for the album to drop.
