Reese Witherspoon is awestruck at a Mr. T Chia Pet gift from host Ellen on the The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing today!
The 35-year-old This Means War actress went on the show to promote the film, and also talked about meeting Prince William and his wife Kate!
“Somebody called me and said we’re having a really small fundraiser would you want to come over and meet the Prince and Princess? I was like, Yes,” Reese said excitedly. “I must have tried on like six outfits. I’m meeting a princess. You don’t understand. You have to be wearing the right outfit and the whole thing. I don’t know maybe we can be friends.”
“She was really nice. She was lovely. She’s so composed. She seems like such a lady and I think it’s so nice now days to see someone with such nice composure and carries herself so beautifully….Call me. Call me anytime,” Reese joked.

@ha ha: That’s a good one. I see from this interview that Reese can still act. That entire conversation was scripted by Reese. Not Ellen’s part, she’s a dear, and with a high tolerance for phony. But hardly anything Reese said had more than a grain of truth to it.

Pattycake, your comment about Ellen was spot-on – she is extremely tolerant of phonies. I wish she would call them on it sometimes. Ellen doesn’t need to keep people like Reese happy – she (Ellen) has already proven herself in Hollywood & is hugely popular with all the big celebs.
