OlderViola Davis: NAACP Image Awards 2012
Viola Davis adds a splash of color at the 2012 NAACP Image Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Friday (February 17) in Los Angeles.
The 46-year-old actress, who arrived with husband Julius Tennon, paired her Herve L. Leroux dress with Jimmy Choo heels, a Judith Leiber clutch, and Bochic earrings.
Viola was nominated at the show for Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture for her role in The Help. The movie earned eight nominations, including Best Picture!

… all black girls commenting here, of course. How very positive you are toward the darker-skinned black females. Quite noticeable on JJ. I think Viola is fabulous. She’s a very talented actress and I wish her all the luck in the world come Oscars, BUT the boobs shouldn’t be smashed up like that in this dress. Not supposed to look like that. She has a great body and looks good in almost anything. The color is right, but those bobbies detract.

I’m crushed…Viola used to be such a winner for me in so many ways…but I am done with her and the likes of her bearing everything God gave you to the public. Her dress was vulgar…you couldn’t focus on that eloquent voice or the message for staring at her attire in disgust. She definitely needs to do a check on her most recent attires. She used to be much too polished for that image. Why do women think revealing your body equals success.
