I was so shocked of learning of Whitney’s death – my heart goes out to her family especially her daughter, but I know she will be strong like her mom – I always love all of her songs, she performs and dresses so graciously and she does handle the high notes too – I have a few CD’s by her. “I will always love you” Whitney. May u RIP

My prayers go out to the family and friends in the passing of a great person. She showed great perseverance in life and weathered the storms with dignity. She will be greatly missed. Christina, you will make it. I know you will. Keep the faith that your mother had. Do her proud. Thanks to BET for sharing this moment with everyone.

Trying to find words to express how I feel that are befitting of a queen because thats what you are to me. You’ve touched my life in so many ways through your music helped me make it through many things with the soothing tone of your voice, and made me feel loved even when I felt as though love had turned its back on me. All though god had called his angel home to stand beside him in heaven your music will continue to work its magic on me and many more. You will be truly missed Whitney Houston and I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!!

This is yet again another tragic story of substance abuse @ its best. Had Ms. Houston been an average “normal” person, it wouldn’t have been recognized or been out there. She is a statistic now, showing that no matter how one may seem in the world to everyone, she had her drama in life, an enemy she couldn’t shake, a demon… She had it all and basically choose to just throw it all away like nothing… not thinking of anyone but herself. We can all say we love her, sure… but where was the true love and support when she was intoxicated? So sad, so true.

Some of you really need to learn to show some respect because whether you liked Whitney or not still a mother has lost her child and a daughter has lost her mother. If you didn’t want to see then you should of turned the channel. So if all you have is a negative comment about Whitney today, then please keep it to yourself because some of did have some training and don’t want to hear/read it.

You had such a great voice. You were given incredible wealth. I am a recovering addict, too. I decided that my family; my child, my spouse and my community (I have no fans or record company, or contracts), needed me ALIVE instead of dead. So I chose to become as seemingly unselfish as I could be, and I adhered to the very simple yet firm rules required to stay clean and off of drugs. IT’S REALLY SIMPLE. You have to let go of conceit; selfishness; you’re required to do this for yourself; it cannot be handed to you – (which, unfortunately, you seemed to become happy and comfortable with). I am sorry for your child; you seemed to set a wonderful example for her… it seems as though she needs inpatient treatment as well. Hopefully she has not become spoiled and selfish enough to accept the realization that getting and staying clean from drugs and alcohol required true hard work. It will not be handed to her like a mirror with lines of cocaine on it; or a crack pipe; or a prescription of Xanax, or Klonopin, or a bottle of champagne… I am sorry you are gone. I am disappointed in and with you. You let a lot of people down. You did not go out like a champion. You went out without a fight. I knew you… I was born and raised in Newark. We went to school together. I spoke with you in Atlanta 26 months ago… you were a wreck. But I didn’t see this coming… Goodbye, Whitney…

You must remember that her drug habbit was relatively new compared to the 25+ years of great music, movies, volunteer work, etc. As much as people admired her and wanted to be her, we must remember that she was human and not perfect. People fall from grace all time, unfortunately for her she fell while in the public eye.

No one knows what we go through each day of our lives, but us and God. He knows our heart even when we fall short of his Gory. I don’t have any doubt that Mrs.Whitney Houston is in Heaven, Thanking, “God” for relieving her from her struggles here on earth. Before anyone can pass judgement, ” There is a mirror for you to look into and you too will fall short of God’s Glory. Mrs.Whitney Houston, will be greatly missed in our world, but the great attribute she has given us is her music, she had truly bless us and be thankful. Let all pray for her family to have peace and comfort.

It’s such a shame that some of us have no commission. Even in death some of us won’t let her RIP. If you have nothing positive to say, keep your mouth close, Your deeds may not be drugs ,but God knows what they are .Let God be the judge… Noone asked you to come on and say anything thing. God bless her soul and Ipray she made peace with God.. Celebrate her success and not her failures, just the same way you would like your last moments to be remembered. Jesus did not came to call the righteous ,but those which were lost.. RIP WHITNEY
