OlderEva Longoria: Pre-Oscars Bash at Beso!
Eva Longoria hosts her Pre-Oscar Flamenco Party on Wednesday (February 22) at her restaurant, Beso, in Hollywood.
The 36-year-old Desperate Housewives star (in Zuhair Murad) joined boyfriend Eduardo Cruz and pal Mario Lopez (with fiancee Courtney Mazza) for an evening of flamenco music and the dance group, Gitano.
Guests – including Housewives actress Brenda Strong and Terrence Howard – enjoyed Beso’s hors d’oeuvres with Ciroc Vodka and Fiji Water.
In between her hosting duties, Eva took time to chat with JustJared.com about the end of Housewives and her charity work.

On her pre-Oscar bash: “I’m a big supporter of Gitano, who are preforming tonight. They are really dear friends of mine who I wanted to invite to perform for an event for a long time. I thought why not to tie it in with a charity. Tonight it’s about Linda’s Choice, which focuses on domestic violence.”
On her various charity work: “I think I was chosen to be an actor because I knew I wanted to platform a voice to give to charities. That’s what I’ve been doing!”
On the end of Desperate Housewives: “It will be so sad to say goodbye. I’m going to be taking some time off. I’ve just become involved in Obama‘s co-chair committee so I’ll be doing a lot of campaigning throughout my off time.”

It’s Hollywood stars that are so out of touch with the world…just like Obama. He’s singing in the White House House at a party with the Rolling Stones -meanwhile we are all stuggling to survive and paying 5.00 a gallon for gas. Mr. President the day I sing is the day you get voted out of office.
