Taylor Kitsch: 'John Carter' Premiere!

Taylor Kitsch suits up for the premiere of his new movie, John Carter, held at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live on Wednesday (February 22) in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old recently sat down with Access Hollywood to chat about the action flick – and the multiple on-set injuries he suffered playing the title character.

“Many [bumps and bruises]. Some groin tears to high ankle sprains, some good cuts,” Taylor revealed. “I would love a bruise on some days compared to what I was actually dealing with.”

“[But] I loved the challenge,” he added.

Yay! Taylor! I’m do happy for him, everyone says John Carter will bomb but I think it will do fairly well. I hope this is one of the firsts movies in a long career because he was amazing on FNL and he seems like a nice guy.

This man can do no wrong as far as I’m concerned.

I was worried about the film, too, but it seems like the bad marketing has all been part of a behind-the-scenes ploy to sacrifice this film in order to get the old Disney film division regime out of the picture. Unfortunately for them, early reviews are saying this movie is really, really good. Lots of RottenTomatoes critics have Tweeted that they’re going to rate it as fresh, and some friends of mine who saw a screening loved it. So word of mouth may save this one yet. I’m hoping it does, because Taylor and Andrew Stanton deserve it.

Remy, you are absolutely right. It’s bad marketing because I was lucky enough to go to the premiere & see the movie and it’s REALLY GOOD.

and Taylor is DELICIOUS! got to meet him ^_^
