I think it is AWESOME! Love it! She is going to have a mega hit on her hands!!! Glad Carrie is back with new music!

  • henna

meh… it’s okay. nothing really new, sounds a lot like undo it/cowboy cassanova.

  • K

So average. Now, you can’t say Taylor Swift’s songs sound all same. Now Carrie’s do.

  • K

But she looks beautiful on the cover!

  • Kim kardashian

    I think no

  • Becky

    Her worst song yet!

  • Jim

This song is nothing great! The lyrics = sting you like a bee? That took 3 years to think up?

  • linda

The song was crap ( SORRY )

  • trish

Best song of the year – Carrie Underwood can rock – wow!

  • Ben

Carrie is no Taylor Swift! I mean she does not have Taylor’s talent for song lyrics and I think Taylor’s voice is also better!

  • Doug

One of the top five biggest dissapointments of my life. And I’m 43 years old. Its all over the place. I keep expecting Jani Lane of Warrent or Bret Michaels of Poison to walk out. Hair band music of the 80′s is over!!! Mark Bright is the next Col Tom Parker has a good thing and runs it in the ground.

  • sarah

I simply cannot believe Carrie would agree to sing the words “his lips are dripping honey but he’ll sting you like a bee” …I could see that happening on the first album. But 8 years later and fourth album? Unexplainable.

  • Tony

LOL—looks like the Swift little fans are out hating again like they do any female artist that is better than Swift (everyone is better than Swift). Underwood knocked it out of the park with this one. She owns the song from beginning to end. It has your feet stomping and wanting to get up and dance. It is already #1 country in just a few hours. Carrie is back and the little rug rats feel threatened. Buckle up rug rats the ride has just begun…….

  • jewels

There really is no words for how awful this is…I was so looking forward to something inspiring. Gawd where’s my Demi Lovato c.d. I got to hear “skyscraper” for the millionth time in hopes to cleanse my ears.

  • http://comcast Dee

@Sarah–This will probably be a big hit, only because a bunch of 12 year olds will eat up these sickening lyrics.

  • Bob

Carrie’s back! And the little prepubescent Swifty fan club is worried!

Retired? Nope. #1 on the iTunes country charts and it was released at 10pm.

This is going to be HUUUUUUUGE!

  • Doug

@ Tony — Mr. Tony I by no means want to get into a back and forth. I just want to clarify the only country artist I listen to is Carrie Underwood. I am one of her biggest fans have concert ticket stubs , plane tickets, etc. to prove the fact……….this song is very disappointing. I

  • Joe

@Doug – We know you are a big Swift fan so cut the crap!

This song is amazing – already reached #1 i-tunes country in less than 6 hours and also flying up all genre i-tunes chart – guaranteed mega hit!!!

  • Tina

Good Girl will be the monster song of the year – just look at how it is blowing up i-tunes, you tube, etc.

Taylor Swift fans are dying cause Carrie is kicking their lyrically deficient girl – hahahaha

  • Doug

@ Joe — all I have to do is figure out a way to post a picture of the hallway of my house. It is covered in self made 8 x 10′s of Carrie and Danica Patrick.

  • jan

This song will be another 1 hit for carrie, i like it. and who ever said
that ts can see better then carrie, has to his ears clean out, she can’t sing to save her soul.

  • Me

Some of you are so full of it. It’s not her best song, but it’s not half as bad as some of you are trying to make it.

  • Sandy

There will be no holding this song back.

  • Brian

Love this song! Another #1 hit for Carrie! Can’t stop listening!

  • DJ

Congratulations, Carrie on your lastest song! It is great! So glad to have you back on country radio. We have missed you. Looking forward to your new album May 1st!

  • Robin

Often songs have similar themes. Miranda’s “Kerosene” is the same theme as “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend”. One ex burns the house down, the other ex throws a fit in a bar.

  • Robin

Actually Taylor songs sound the same and are about the same thing. This song doesn’t sound like any other song Carrie does, but has a similar theme as ONE of her other songs.

It’s shares a theme only with “Cowboy Casanova”. “Before He Cheats” and “Last Name” are different even if about guys.

  • Robin

Taylors lyrics are naive and silly. Taylors voice is horrid. You are right though about her not being like Taylor.

  • Robin

    It’s been 7 years not 8.

  • Carrie Fan

It’s so catchy. I think some of the transitions to the chorus are kind of abrupt but I still really really like it and know it’s going to be a huge hit for Carrie. Her vocals at the bridge are out of this world! I hope she doesn’t lose her voice singing it all the time.

  • Hey

Don’t bother listening to it it’s awful as always.

  • lc

I LOVE IT!!!!! she’s back!!!! deal with it!

  • Jamie

Thank god she is no Taylor Swift! Carrie actually has some variety to her music not the same melody and subject matter.

  • GalPal

Doug-you are a Swifty fan and we all know it. This is a rocking song for Carrie-love it love it. All of Taylor’s songs sound the same. Carrie can mix it up and the girl can sing. You go girl!

  • Jackie

Don’t care for this song at all.

  • Doug

@Robin — if you want to get technical about the years Carrie released her first album when she was 14. I saw her do her first full concert in Little Rock Arkansas when she was 19. I didn’t look before I posted this comment but you may be able to find the first c.d. and “Live from Little Rock” on ebay.

  • Doug

When I got in the car this morning. And heard the song on the radio it grew on me a little bit. Maybe my expectations were too high? I kept quiet leading up to this release I was just so hoping with all due respect to Adele that Carrie would blow by Adele’s deal. I apologize for my earlier comment from Friday.

  • Lilly

Taylor Swift sucks. Carrie Underwood sucks. You all are crazy if you think this song is good. It is a piece of sh*t. Carrie should be ashamed for releasing such crap. I hate her high and shrilly voice. She is boring, annoying and predictable. Taylor cannot sing live and her songs are childish. Shut up and listen to some real music. OMG!

  • GalPal

Lilly-go away little girl. Carrie has range and she can definitely rock and hit those notes. A least she mixes it up. You are a Taylor fan so go find her site and do your dribble there.
