The movie, produced and directed by Peter Berg, is an action-adventure film that takes place on the seas, in the skies and over land as our planet fights for survival against a superior force. Inspired by Hasbro’s classic naval combat game, Battleship stars Taylor Kitsch as Lt. Alex Hopper, a Naval officer assigned to the USS John Paul Jones; Brooklyn Decker as Sam Shane, a physical therapist and Hopper’s fiancée; Alexander Skarsgard as Hopper’s older brother, Stone, Commanding Officer of the USS Sampson; Rihanna as Petty Officer Raikes, Hopper’s crewmate and a weapons specialist on the USS John Paul Jones; and international superstar Liam Neeson as Hopper and Stone’s superior (and Sam’s father), Admiral Shane.
Battleship hits theaters May 18, 2012.

This movie will BOMB! And Taylor Kitsch will have two flops in a row… he should have thought about this. Decent actor, but agent.
@giuseppe sallo: Actually, neither film will probably bomb that hard, but neither (nor the horrid attempt at being ‘hip’ Stone is trying to make) will be worth much in artistic salt.
It’s a disappointment for all Riggins’ fans out there. Maybe a bad agent indeed? Or maybe Kitsch really is Riggins and his good intentions will forever pave the road to cr*pdom?
