Lena Dunham & Judd Apatow: 'Girls' Trailer!

Check out the trailer for Girls, the new HBO comedy series from producer Judd Apatow and actress/writer/director Lena Dunham.

Girls is a comic look at the assorted humiliations and rare triumphs of a group of girls in their early 20s. Lena wrote and directed the pilot of the series, which she created and executive produces along with Judd.

Lena is best known for her 2010 indie breakout film Tiny Furniture.

The cast also includes Book of Mormon‘s Andrew Rannells, Jemima Kirke, Allison Williams (daughter of NBC anchor Brian Williams), Adam Driver, and Zosia Mamet (daughter of playwright David Mamet).

The ten episode first season of Girls premieres on HBO on April 15 at 10:30pm!

    Let me guess – the show is all about Lena Dunham complaining about being fat, dating the wrong guy, and then struggling to find her place professionally. Basically they are creating an entire series out of her incredibly unfunny and boring film. Good lord, Hollywood, it can’t be THAT hard to find better material.
