Davy was the one I loved the most, My favourite song of all time is Daydream Believer, RIP now Davy, my thoughts are with your family, bless you x

Oh, I thought he was so cute when I was growing up. RIP, Davy.

Seriously aging myself here, but I remember when he took the “real” Marcia Brady to the prom on the Brady Bunch. He was so cute. RIP, Mr. Jones.

The audio to the first link I posted to Daydream Believer didn’t work.

This one does: Watch Davy dance away. Anyone know the name of the dance ? Was it called the Skate?

So sad. Couldn’t wait to watch the Monkees each week when I was growing up — and he was my first “crush.” RIP, Davy!

Very sad news. My thoughts and prayers go out to this family and good friends. RIP Mr. Jones.

Wow! I am so excited to see that there are people here who remember the Monkees. I use to have a crush on Mickey and my best friend on Davy. I was expecting to see a bunch of “who is he” comments. Boy, you guys rock! We are blessed to have grew up during the best tv and music era.

Here is a good online memorial for Davy. You can light a virtual candle or send virtual candles free of charge.

@t: very nice British accent. Good bye Davy

Davy Jones was THE MONKEE – the popular glue that held the group together. A terrifically nice and talented guy. Goodbye and blessings to you Davy – we will always fondly remember you.

I loved watching their show as kid. RIP Davy Jones.
