Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have revealed their newborn son’s name: Samuel Garner Affleck!
Sam was born earlier this week in Santa Monica, Calif.

Big sisters Violet, 6, and Seraphina, 3, must be so excited about their baby brother!!
Jen shared that initially, Violet and Seraphina were suggesting Disney inspired names for the baby.
“It was like, Donald Duck, Minnie Mouse Affleck. And then they moved on. Then it was Peter Pan, Captain Hook,” she laughed.

No, I think they just chose Garner as the middle name, which is cute.
Also, hyphenated last names are NOT a hollywood trend! LOL they’ve existed for a pretty damn long time in history…………

I like the name “Samuel”. A nice & lovely, NORMAL name. They thought about their kid’s future, good parents there.

I’ve only heard one pack of celebrity kids with hyphenated last names- The Jolie-Pitt’s- so I don’t think Garner is a last name, rather his middle. Yay to a NORMAL name but it’s VERY common. Violet is as well I guess, so apparently their middle child- Seraphina- is the only one with a “not normal” name. I wonder how big he was, considering she was pregnant for like EVER.
