Kevin Zegers & Hayden Panettiere: New Acting Projects!

Kevin Zegers and Hayden Panettiere have both signed on for exciting new acting projects!

The 27-year-old Titanic: Blood & Steel actor is attached to star in a new independent film titled The Colony. Kevin will play alongside Laurence Fishburne and Bill Paxton “in the feature about a group of survivors in the aftermath of a future Ice Age who live…in a society that disintegrates into cannibalism and violence,” according to Deadline.

Meanwhile, Hayden, 22, is headed back to the small screen to shoot the pilot of Nashville, an ABC drama. Hayden will play a country music teen sensation who teams up with a fading star.

Molly Shannon, 47, just landed a recurring role on the HBO show Enlightened, which stars Laura Dern! Molly will play a loyal assistant.

Funnyman Dane Cook, 39, just signed on for the NBC comedy Next Caller Please, where he will play a brash and hard-edged radio DJ whose world is turned upside down when a feminist takes his co-host chair.
