OlderJennifer Lawrence Kicks Off 'Hunger Games' Mall Tour
Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth pose together as they kick off The Hunger Games U.S. Mall Tour at Westfield Century City on Saturday (March 3) in Los Angeles.
The Hunger Games author, Suzanne Collins, recently posted a glowing review of the film based on her book on her Facebook page.
“I’ve just had the opportunity to see the finished film of The Hunger Games. I’m really happy with how it turned out,” Suzanne wrote. “I feel like the book and the film are individual yet complementary pieces that enhance one another. The film opens up the world beyond Katniss’ point of view, allowing the audience access to the happenings of places like the Hunger Games control room and President Snow’s rose garden, thereby adding a new dimension to the story.”
“And, my God, the actors. The cast, led by the extraordinary Jennifer Lawrence, is absolutely wonderful across the board. It’s such a pleasure to see how they’ve embodied the characters and brought them to life,” Suzanne added about the cast.
FYI: Jennifer is wearing a Tory Burch “Adelaide” dress. Liam wore Joe’s “Marvin” henley.

I hate how shallow I’m about to sound but I think they should have picked a much better looking Peeta. *sigh* Josh just doesn’t do it for me like he does for everyone else.

I was there! Josh and Jennifer are so awesome and down to earth. Liam is a little on the serious side but he still seemed alright. Can’t wait for the movie!
Loved the books. I hope the movie lives up to all the hype. I do like the actors they picked to portray the characters. Liam is hot!

Jen is pretty, really talented, down-to-earth and seems just so ordinary- thats why i like her, but I still dont think she is the best choice for katniss. She is to usual, there is nothing special or mystical- she just dont has that certain something…
I cannot understand why a few don’t like Josh as Peeta…I find him pretty perfect – did you see interviews? He’s so natural and charming, just like Peeta. Hope the film is able to capture that.
Plus Peeta is not supposed to be the big athletic heart-.throb – that’s Gale!
Liam is sooo fine, it’s a shame he is with that trash-bag

I don’t know what people see in this Jennifer Lawrence, her face is expressionless and she thinks too high of herself. Anyways, I don’t care and probably won’t see this movie. Good books should stay as books,what kind of new fashion is that, every good book needs to be ruined as a movie?
