Oprah Winfrey Lands Whitney Houston Family Interview

Oprah Winfrey has secured an interview with Whitney Houston‘s daughter, Bobbi Kristina, for a TV special set to air on her Oprah Winfrey Network.

The 58-year-old media mogul’s Oprah’s Next Chapter will also include interviews with Whitney‘s sister-in-law and manager, Patricia Houston, and her brother Gary, according to the Associated Press.

Oprah was reportedly one of the guests invited to Whitney‘s funeral in Newark, New Jersey, last month.

The powerhouse singer died February 11 at the age of 48. No official cause of death has been determined.

Oprah‘s interview with Whitney‘s family airs Sunday, March 11, at 9 p.m.

I wanted to touch many with my life story memoir, Especially Whitney Houston I was dying for her to read it.,.I’ve done Everything to get this Book to her.As a fan I’m Crushed! Family should have it on her behave.

What an opportunist. How disgusting. Oprah’s like a vulture circling. Far too soon! Let the girl be.

# 3

I have never been a fan of Oprah and the way she conducts herself…comes across as cheap/selfish/egocentric… well at least to me

At least I hope they don’t deify her and show what drugs will do to you. And also try to talk some sense to her daughter before she has the same fate. Because that’s what people do when they really care. They don’t try to enable you and say everything’s great.

poor Whitney, there is NO PEACE for her after her death

# 6

Way too soon…her mother just died little over 2 weeks ago. She needs to start to adjust to life w/o her mom w/o any interviews and press instead of talking about it already to an opportunist woman like Oprah trying to simply get herself some ratings and money off of this…disgusting. If anyone really out there cares for Bobbi Kristina’s well being including Oprah, they’d support the girl and talk to her with a stupid camera in her face

meant to say….talk to her withOUT the stupid camera in her face

YAAAS HONEY!!! @ 03/03/2012 at 4:34 am

@Marieme: yous summed it up perfectly. Oprah IS a vulture but people are so blind they think she’s sent from above. She’s a devil.

Oprah has earned her billions exploiting people, why change now? I’d rather watch Ellen making the day of a regular citizen or citizen hero that helped save someone.
Remember when Oprah refused to speak to many people? Now she’s doing Kimmel and tweeting.

God sake! Leave that poor child alone. She should be in therapy, NOT being interviewed by Oprah. I didn’t think Oprah could get any lower, but I was very wrong. Guess she’s trying to get her ratings back up before she starts stumping for Obama. Disgusting!

well i really dont know how i feel about that

I’m not surprised by this…..I figured the family would speak about this anyways. And for the people that are going to say…’No they don’t have to” or “Oprah is so this and so that”…get over it! Whitney Houston was a GLOBAL icon, in life and unfortunately in death it doesn’t stop. I rather see the family talk to Oprah (for the first and last time) than talk to anyone else about this. Whitney had been on Oprah many times, and when she wanted to speak about her drug abuse and problems she turned to Oprah to talk about it for the first and last time because she felt Oprah was the only talk personality she could trust. Hopefully after the family gives the interview…the media will just let them grieve and stop with all the wild rumors

What a despicable heffer she is and why the Media slobbers over her every word is beyond me.

She needed this as her network has been a complete flop.

No pills or drugs for Oprah – she’s too busy with the pecan pies, jelly donuts, chocolate sundaes, banana splits, strawberry cheesecake and creamy, homemade fudge.

Who cares? Whitney hadn’t contributed to not only society, but the music business for nearly 15 years. yawn…I’m over it.

@Jen: What did you mean about Oprah stumping for President Obama. He has nothing to do with this at all, if you wasn’t so racist that comment would not have came out of your mouth. God gave him that position, you best read your Bible. Leave his name out of your mouth you have no respect for yourself or other’s. People forget who made this mess of this country it sure was not President Obama but George W. Bush!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@Linda: Right On Linda!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
