Gwen Stefani Has 'Encyclopedic Knowledge of English Bands'

Gwen Stefani comes out to support hairstylist Kristoff Ball at the grand opening of his new salon on Thursday (March 1) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Earlier in the week, the 42-year-old singer and her No Doubt bandmates attended Elton John‘s Oscar Party.

DJ Jeremy Healy, who helped create the soundtrack to Gwen‘s latest L.A.M.B. fashion show, recently shared what the music selection process was like.

“We put together 50 or so tracks and send them over the pond and then narrow it down from there. This time we get to rediscover some 1950s, ’60s, ’70s gems,” he told Billboard.

“Gwen has an encyclopedic knowledge of ’80s English bands,” he added. “It’s always interesting discovering new old stuff and revisiting the ’70s and ’80s music I grew up to.”
