Live action movies are still how actors are judged.

Good job to everyone on the lorax crew!

Wow…what happened to the Jennifer Aniston’s movie–is a bust. I think she should go back to tv…she can’t make it in films. Please don’t bother to tell me when she is in the movies with the dog, vince v, adam sandler and those movies do well. Those movies do well because of the leading men.

i think that was for Zac.. he just AMAZING!!!

This movie was amazing!

& look at that, $70 million+ (Zac Efron, Taylor Swift, Betty White, Danny DeVito, Ed Helms FTW) This just proved it.

Taylor Swift sure does have lots of loyal fans. Good for her.

Haven’t seen it yet unfortunately, but gonna do next weekend! Good job!

Lol at the bitter people using whatever they can to try and discredit the success of this. This might be an animated film, but the fact that they chose Zac and Taylor to do the voice overs and a bulk of the promotion only sealed the deal on its success. Clearly this is very beneficial for them, and live action movies aren’t the only way an actor is judged. Just face the fact that both of them chose a good project to be involved in.

People should know it is more about a kid who helps bring back the trees
After a man destroys all of the trees in the forest and there aRe animals
That are sent away because the trees are gone.!

It took 70 million to make this movie so they have broken even to date. It is getting bad reviews calling it overstuffed and underwhelming and I have to admit that I thought it was not even close to the other Seuss movies/books. I thought it was somewhat boring and lame. The critics are saying that it is good that Swift has a day job. Actually I thought Danny D. did the best of all of them. I will pass on going back to see it again. Not worth the money.

Until the movie came out, the only thing people knew about the Lorax was the classic animated TV special from which the book was made. Now it’s the biggest enviro movie of the year. Go see it in IMAX 3D in a digital theater!!!

@Heather: I would like to know what the heck you’re reading, because generally most of the reviews have been scattered and the overall opinion has been split down the middle. It’s only 3% off of being certified fresh on rt, and 73% of the average adult users that lurk there said they liked it. Clearly it’s doing well.

am so happy for ZAC i have a feeling this is going to be his year indeed. AND I DONT CARE WHAT THE HATERS SAY ZAC EFRON is GOING TO BE ON TOP,
