That’s a bit weird. Isn’t that for teenagers?

Don’t be silly. Didn’t you see those Twilight moms on Oprah? If it’s reading there’s a demographic for everyone, and maybe Ava got Reese into the Hunger Games. Who knows. Besides in the later parts of the series, it’s not just young people in the story anymore.

Still in Brazil supposedly promoting a film that is (another) blot on her career. Good thing she doesn’t have children at home who she should be parenting. Oh wait.

the way she’s holding the book is kinda akwward.. like she’s showing to the papz what she’s reading..

@Anastacia: Not really, have you never held a book before?

# 6

I can’t but think that she holds the book in this way in order show that ” hey, look i’m reading Catching Fire”.Fake.

It looks like she’s holding the book that way to block the sun. Why the heck would she need to advertise that she’s reading that book?? I also bet that she’s reading it because one of her kids is reading it — parents do that all of the time. As for the comment that she should be home with the kids, give it a rest. For all you know, it’s Ryan’s time with the kids. And Heaven forbid that a woman have a career. Of all Hollywood women, she seems like a pretty hands-on and protective mom.

@Dana: don’t forget to put in for your bonus

She is holding two books in picture 7. Reese is such a desperate soul now. She will do and say anything to promote. She is trying to latch on to The Hunger Games because it is about to open soon.

Can anyone recall a time when Reese hustled so hard. Why is she the only one doing so Chris and Tom did little promotion for the film. It is all Reese. Succeed or Fail.

I’m just not a fan of hers like I was a long time ago.

@ck_always:

Have you ?c the book is facing the oposet direction instead of the pages facing her there facing the other way giving the paparizze a full view of the cove of the book.

That is a book for teens just like the Twilight series.

@Pattycake
and a good bonus it will be!

ha, you guys are ridiculous! My mom and grandmother both read these book and loved them along with a few teachers I know. It’s not just a teen book. I definitely don’t think she’s doing it for “attention” either. The movie comes out next week and I know a ton of new fans have latched on to the series lately to read before watching.

@Devon
You sound like a teenager yourself and if you knew anything about this woman Witherspoon then you would know that EVERYTHING she does is ALWAYS for attention!

big famewh@re ku nt sellout fake in hollyweird

I don’t know what Reese’s intentions are but I’ve read all three books and I’m 27. So have many of my other friends. I wanted to check them out to see what all the hype was about and actually enjoyed them. So you don’t have to be a teenager or an obsessed housewives to like the the series.

@IamKevinSmith:
Sorry I don’t obsess over celebrity’s motives! I’m 25 by the way…

You're_All_Stupid @ 04/12/2012 at 2:00 am

You guys are all stupid. Have you read The Hunger Games Trilogy? It is NOT a preteen romance crap novel like Twilight. There is way more meat on the bones of this story than there is in twilight; there are powerful themes of politics, death, sacrifice, love-not just the romantic kind- friendship, and coming of age. What romance there is is not even central to the main plot line. So a 35 year old is reading the book–big deal. The story Collins wrote can be enjoyed by people of all ages not just teenagers.
